At BouxbArt, 100% of donations for paintings go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
BouxbArt™ (boob-art) is literally impressionistic painting inspired by beautiful things in nature. Creator, Darlene Leiker, wanted to "titillate" her husband who was working abroad. What started out as a tease for him in 2012 turned into something more. (Yes, she paints with her breasts with non-toxic acrylic.) Ten months later, in October of 2013, her mother had a mastectomy and she had to have a partial mastectomy. She decided at that time to "use them for 'good' while I have them". 100%of the donations for paintings go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Darlene has discovered different techniques along the way and each painting is uniquely inspired. WFAA, the Dallas/Ft. Worth affiliate of ABC, covered her story in 2023. In 2024, Photojournalist, Brandon Mowry of WFAA Ch. 8 in DFW, won an Emmy for how he UnCovered my story. Stay abreast of all things Bouxbart™ on Facebook and Instagram and right here at Bouxbart.com.
Who is Tuttidee? That is what Darlene's father called her. He passed in 2010 so she also honors him by signing her paintings with her nickname.
BouxbArt™ is Darlene's TradeMark for her style of painting.
